Tomorrow is the last day to submit your application for the Citizen’s Academy. So if you want to join, fill out an application and turn it in by tomorrow! The Citizen’s Academy is an 8 week interactive course going over the functions of the Shelby Township Police Department. The Academy will be every Thursday evening starting September 29^th through November 17^th from 6:30pm-9:30pm. We will include subjects like 911 communications, Drones, Evidence Technicians and crime scene processing, use of force, Tactical Response Unit, Impaired driving/Traffic Bureau, court proceedings, the Detective Bureau and investigations.
