Vulnerable / Impaired Person Program (V.I.P)

The Vulnerable or Impaired Person (VIP) program is a state-wide program that permits voluntary enrollment into the Automated Fingerprint Identification System database.This is completed by a parent, legal guardian,or power of attorney of the individual.   The benefits of enrolling into the program include providing law-enforcement the ability to identify individuals who may not be able to identify themselves and assist in returning them to a safe environment.  VIP allows us to have immediate access to family contact information using a mobile fingerprint scanner, which allows us to reunite vulnerable people with their loved-ones more quickly.

Please visit www.mi.gov/MSP-VIP for enrollment instructions. Cost of enrollment is $30 (cash only) and appointments for digital fingerprinting must be made by contacting Ron Mix at 586-731-2121 ext.343.
