Child Safety Seat Inspections

The Shelby Twp Police Department has two officers certified in Child Safety Seat Installation inspections.  These officers have completed a 40-hour training course with certification test provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Association, and are available to help install your child safety seat by appointment only.  Please contact them with questions or to make an appointment at the following email addresses or call 586-731-2121 to speak with them:
