Registration now open for our 2023 Youth Law Enforcement Academy!

The Shelby Township Police Department will be hosting our 4th Annual Youth Law Enforcement Academy this summer! The academy is designed to teach students teamwork, leadership, communication skills, and give them an introduction to the skills and equipment utilized by first responders on a daily basis.

The academy will run Monday - Friday between 8am-2pm, from July 17-July 28, 2023. Classes are held at the Shelby Township Senior Activities Center (21 Mile/Hayes).

The Youth Law Enforcement Academy is open to students that are in 5th or 6th grade at time of application.

Completed applications can be emailed to Mbenedettini@shelbytwp.org, or dropped off at the police station.
