On 07/28/25 at 4:30 am, officers from Shelby Township responded to a report of a residential break-in around the area of West Utica and Ryan Road. The female caller stated while she was out with friends she received videos on her phone of her ex-boyfriend inside her apartment. The suspect was later identified as Gjervon Williams out of Detroit.
At that time officers checked the area, but the suspect fled prior to their arrival. Officers submitted a warrant request for Williams for breaking into the female’s apartment. On 08/08/25, the same officer that took the initial report got a FLOCK hit on the suspect’s vehicle. The officer located the vehicle in question in Shelby Township and conducted a traffic stop. Gjervon Williams was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and he was arrested on his valid warrant for Breaking and Entering.
During the search of the vehicle, a loaded firearm was located which was later discovered to be stolen out of Detroit. The officers also recovered several credit cards on his person that were not in his name. Gjeron Williams was taken into custody and lodged at Macomb County Jail.
On 08/08/25 Gjervon Rodney Williams was arraigned in front of Judge Sierawski for:
-Felony Home Invasion
Bond was set at $2,500 Cash/Surety
-Felony Weapons-Firearms-Receiving & Concealing
Bond was set at $10,000 Cash/Surety
