We would like to introduce to you Officer Boehm! Officer Boehm grew in up Macomb Twp. and graduated from Henry Ford II High School. He continued his education and went to Central Michigan University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice/Sociology. Officer Boehm has been employed with the Shelby Township Police Department for 6 years now. He is a Patrol Officer who works the midnight shift. Besides being on Patrol, Officer Boehm has many roles here at the Police Department. He is an Evidence Technician, a member of the Tactical Response Unit (TRU team), a field training officer, church liaison officer, a member of the peer counseling team, and the Community Services Unit. Officer Boehm was also awarded with Officer of the year in 2020. Outside of his busy work responsibilities, Officer Boehm enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends. He and his beautiful wife enjoy playing board games, watching shows/movies and playing with their dog. Officer Boehm rescued their dog Lana when he found her as just a tiny puppy abandoned on the side of the road while on patrol. He brought her home after nobody claimed her, talk about meant to be! Officer Boehm also enjoys weightlifting, golf, football and soccer. If you see Officer Boehm out on patrol, make sure to say hi!
