***UPDATE***

It was confirmed this morning at approximately 9am that the suspect involved in our shooting incident at the Spring Hill Apartment Complex was arrested by the Detroit Police Department.  The suspect was taken into custody after allegedly committing additional felony crimes in both Eastpointe and Detroit.   The suspect poses no additional threat to our community or residents.  We would like to thank the members of the Macomb County C.O.M.E.T. Task Force, Michigan State Police Fugitive Task Force and members of both the Eastpointe and Detroit Police Department’s that were instrumental in the investigation and apprehension of this dangerous felon.
