You might remember Officer Bacci from a few weeks ago for his outstanding work where he prevented a tragedy (amazing right?!). So for this week, let’s get to know him a little better! Officer Bacci grew up in Romeo and graduated from Romeo High School in 2012. He attended Central Michigan University and got a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Major in Integrated Science. Officer Bacci was hired by the Police Department in 2019 as a Cadet. He was sent by the department and attended Oakland Police Academy in February 2020. Officer Bacci has worked as a Patrol Officer for almost 2 years now. In his 2 years, he is trained in several specialty units. He is an Evidence Technician, Use of force/Firearms Instructor, and a Field Training Officer (FTO). Officer Bacci would like to be a part of the Detective Bureau one day after he gets more experience on the road and would like to eventually promote to Sergeant so he can see both sides of Policing. When Officer Bacci is not at work, he enjoys being outdoors! He likes to go hunting and fishing, especially bird and turkey hunting. He also enjoys spending time with his Fiancé Brooke, his parents Yvonne and Larry along with his older twin brothers Mark and John. Officer Bacci currently works day shift so give him friendly hello!
