Registration now open for our 2022 Youth Law Enforcement Academy!

The Shelby Township Police Department will be hosting our 3rd Annual Youth Law Enforcement Academy this summer! The academy is designed to teach students teamwork, leadership, communication skills, and give them an introduction to the skills and equipment utilized by first responders on a daily basis.

The academy will run Monday - Friday between 8am-2pm, from July 18-July 29, 2022. Classes are held at the Shelby Township Senior Activities Center (21 Mile/Hayes).

The Youth Law Enforcement Academy is open to students that are in 5th or 6th grade at time of application.

TO APPLY:  Return the completed application, along with a letter of recommendation from one of their teachers, to Sgt. Mark Benedettini.

Spots for the academy are limited and filled on a first come basis.
