Bensalem’s Communications office is a 24 hr operation, dispatching vital information to patrol officers including wanted and missing persons, stolen vehicles, information from other departments, and providing officers with incident report numbers for the approximately 40,000 reports taken each year. The office is the main hub for the community to get information, file police reports and get general questions answered. Our Community Service officers render assistance to the patrol officers including processing prisoners. They assist the community by handling abandon vehicles, parking complaints and other general assignments.
