Lieutenant Andrew Zabierowski has served with the Bensalem Township Police Department since 2010. In 2025, he was assigned as the Night Operations Commander, where he is responsible for overseeing all departmental operations during evening hours. In this role, he also supervises the Police Activities League (PAL), which serves more than 700 youth participants across five programs: Basketball, Flag Football, Bowling, Special Needs Winter Fun, and Street Hockey.
Prior to his promotion to lieutenant, Lt. Zabierowski served as a patrol officer for five years before being reassigned to the Special Investigations Unit in 2015. He was promoted to corporal in 2019 and to sergeant in 2023. Throughout his career, Lt. Zabierowski has taken on numerous additional responsibilities, including serving for thirteen years as an operator, sniper, and assistant team leader with the Bucks County South SWAT Team. He has also served as a firearms instructor and active threat instructor, and has contributed to various training programs within the department.
Lt. Zabierowski was born and raised in Bensalem and is a 2001 graduate of Bensalem High School. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University and is a soon-to-be graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command, Class #626.
