New Jersey Traffic Law Title: 39:4-135

Please be advised that effective immediately, should your vehicle be parked in violation of New Jersey Traffic Law Title 39:4-135 ‘Parking; direction and side of street; angle parking; one way street’, more specifically, parking your vehicle against the flow of traffic, documentation will be made of this violation with additional violations of this statute resulting in possible issuance of a summons.

Parking in this manner poses a safety risk when entering or exiting the flow of traffic. Furthermore, it poses a risk to pedestrians. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Cape may Police Department at (609)884-9500.

We have been receiving complaints about the parking throughout the city and boroughs.

Please take the time and turn your vehicle around and/or correct your parking habit.
