Patrol Division

The Cape May Police Department currently has 22 full time officer and 1 full-time Class 2 officers who work 12 hours shifts from either 6am to 6pm and from 6pm to 6 am. Patrol squads cover 2 zone one comprising the City of Cape May and one comprising West Cape May and Cape May Point. Patrol squads, of which there is a total of four, are supervised by a Sergeant who is responsible for the day to day duties of the squad.
