No Shave November

The members of the Cape May Police Department will once again be participating in No Shave November. No Shave November is a month long journey during which participants forgo shaving in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness. This year we will be raising money for two local families:

Jamie Miller is a 36-year-old woman who was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer.  Her husband is an officer with Middle Township Police Department. After weeks of doctor appointments, scans, tests and the unknown, Jamie and Ron's world was rocked with her devastating diagnosis of grade 3, triple negative ductal breast cancer.

Branden Brojakowski is a 15 year old sophomore at Lower Cape May Regional High School and is battling Osteosarcoma.  He started Chemotherapy treatments at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on September 10th, 2020 and will continue treatments for 10 weeks. Branden will then undergo LSS (limb saving surgery) to remove the cancer from his left hip and femur, followed by more chemotherapy.

For more information on both individuals  - see the attached flyer.

Donations can be made to the Cape May Police Department Welfare Fund by check or cash.  Please Help us help these families.
