A plea from the Cape May Police Department to our community members, and anyone willing to open their heart to help us support Patrolman Ken Walker in his fight against Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Kenny was recently diagnosed after visiting the hospital for an infection on his hand, which led to further testing, which now has lead him to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.
For those who do not know him; Ken is 25 years old, and works as a Patrolman for the Lower Township Police Department. He is also a member of the Cape May County Regional SWAT and a firearm's instructor. Patrolman Walker also worked for the Cape May Police Department as a SLEO 2 seasonal officer and as a relief dispatcher.
