Please join us in congratulating Detective Sergeant Glenn Vandegrift on his retirement from the Bensalem Township Police Department after 28 years of service with Bensalem Police. Throughout his career, he served as a SWAT Team member for over 10 years, as well as a Firearms instructor.  He also became the Department’s expert in crime scene processing, fingerprint analysis, blood spatter, and DNA processing.   

 

In addition to his investigative expertise, Sergeant Vandegrift played a key role in advancing the Department’s technology initiatives, including Drone Operations, Drone as First Responder, Bus Patrol, and the Real-Time Crime Center.
