Bensalem Township Department of Public Safety recently participated in a multi-agency tabletop exercise facilitated by Critical Response Group (CRG), alongside the Bensalem Township School District and regional public safety partners.

Representatives from neighboring municipalities, school districts, and the Bucks County Intermediate Unit also took part in this important training focused on preparing for potential school safety incidents.

This exercise supported the implementation of CRG’s countywide mapping initiative by using detailed school maps to strengthen coordination between school officials and first responders during an active threat situation. The session provided an opportunity to review existing policies, enhance communication strategies, and discuss best practices for a coordinated emergency response.
