The Bensalem Township Police Department and Department of Public Safety would like to thank John Monaghan from JRM Drone Service and UAV Coach for training 12 of our newest drone pilots!

Drone technology is rapidly changing the way law enforcement serves the community, and Bensalem is staying ahead of the curve. With these new pilots, we’ve officially doubled the size of our drone unit to better support our officers and respond more efficiently to calls.

We’ve also launched our Drone as First Responder (DFR) program, which allows drones to be deployed immediately to incidents—often arriving before officers—to provide real-time information and enhance public safety.

We’re proud to continue investing in technology that helps keep our residents and visitors safe.
