On Thursday, July 30, 2026, Bensalem Township Police were contacted by the parents of a 14 year-old Bensalem High School Special Needs Student regarding an incident that occurred earlier that day involving their daughter and a school bus aide.
The Bensalem Township Police Department’s investigation revealed that the bus aide, 62-year old Ali Khan from Bensalem Township, inappropriately touched the juvenile on numerous occasions on both Wednesday, July 29th, and July 30th, while on the bus en route to Bensalem High School's extended school year program.
Investigators obtained CCTV footage from inside the bus that showed Khan directing the juvenile to a specific seat. Once seated, Khan immediately draped his body across the juvenile while securing her seatbelt and inappropriately touching her for an extended period of time. After the juvenile was secured, Khan was observed repeatedly rubbing the juvenile’s leg and her inner thigh area. The juvenile attempted to close her legs and place her hands in her lap; however, Khan continued to pull her legs apart and touch her.
During the encounter, Khan was holding a cellphone in his other hand and appeared to be recording videos and taking photographs of the juvenile. The CCTV footage from the bus also showed Khan placing his hand inside his pants and touching himself.
Ali Khan was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child (F3), Corruption of Minors (F3), and two counts of Indecent Assault (M2). He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Gary Gambardella, who set his bail at 10% of $500,000.00. Khan was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Bensalem Police would like to commend the victim of this assault for having the courage to come forward and report the assault. Additionally, Bensalem Police would like to thank the Bensalem School District for their assistance with this investigation. The safety and well-being of our students continues to be the top priority of both the Bensalem Township Police Department and the Bensalem School District.
This investigation is ongoing, and anyone who has any additional information regarding Khan or this incident is requested to contact Bensalem Police Detective Yasin at (215) 633-3726.
