Bensalem Police have arrested Mohhamed Alam, 62, Kingston Way, Bensalem, and charged him with sexually assaulting three children between the ages of 3 and 11 years old.
Bensalem Police received a referral from a child welfare organization, which led to an investigation. Bensalem Detectives and members of the Bucks County Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) interviewed a juvenile female who stated Mohhamed Alam inappropriately touched her multiple times when she was between the ages of 7 and 11 years old. In one of the incidents, she was at his home for a community event when he lured her into his bedroom, provided her candy from a candy jar in his bedroom, and had her get into a YOGA pose by forcing her to spread her legs while he touched her inappropriately. During the same investigation, police identified two more victims.
A second juvenile female was interviewed, and she stated that between the ages of 5 and 8 years old, she was touched inappropriately multiple times by Mohhamed Alam in his bedroom after being given candy from a candy jar in his bedroom.
The third juvenile was interviewed and stated that she was assaulted by Mohhamed Alam on multiple occasions between the ages of 3 and 9 years old. In one instance, Mohhamed Alam lured her into his bedroom, provided her candy from a candy jar in his bedroom, and had her sit on his lap as he touched intimate areas of her body. She recalled that he was in a state of arousal while she was on his lap.
All of these reported crimes occurred between 2015 and 2018.
Bensalem Police executed a search warrant at the residence of Mohhamed Alam, and they recovered evidence that supported the juveniles' recollections of the assaults in his bedroom.
On Thursday, April 17, 2025, Mohhamed Alam turned himself in to Bensalem Police on charges of Indecent Assault and Corruption of Minors. He was arraigned by District Justice Joseph Falcone and released after posting 10% of $100,000 bail.
Bensalem Police are concerned that Mohhamed Alam may have more victims. If Mohhamed Alam has assaulted you or someone you know, we ask that you contact Detective Brian Oliverio at (215) 633-3669 to make a report.
