On June 18, 2026 at 9:40 p.m., Bensalem Police responded to 2800 block of Forrest Ave for an unknown problem. Upon arrival, officers were informed by the homeowners that a subject had broken into their house and destroyed property. The suspect was captured on the homeowners’ surveillance cameras and was identified as a person from a prior relationship. Officers located the suspect a short distance from the scene, and he was arrested. The suspect was identified as 40-year-old Keith Torpey from Philadelphia.
Torpey was charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, and Loitering and Prowling at Night. He was arraigned by District Justice Timothy Barton who set bail at 10% of $25,000. Torpey was then remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
