The Bensalem Township Police Department, the Bensalem Township School District, Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo, and members of the Building a Better Bensalem (B3T) have teamed up to produce an educational video. This video was created to educate students about the best practices to follow if a Bensalem Township Police Officer stops them for a traffic violation.
For the third year, members of the Bensalem Township Police Department joined staff at Bensalem High School to present an educational video to Juniors and Seniors. Following the video, police officers were available to answer any questions students and staff had. Each student was provided a copy of the "Traffic Stop Guidelines" to take home and share with family members and friends.
Bensalem Township Police hold the safety of the public and our officers in the highest regard. We are committed to a partnership with our community. The goal of this program is to ensure the safety of drivers, passengers, and officers through education and compliance.
Bensalem Police would like to thank Superintendent Dr. Sam Lee, Principal Geoffrey Per, B3T, and all of the students and police officers who made this program a success.
