On Saturday, September 5, 2026, at approximately 7:08 pm, Bensalem Police responded to the Neshaminy Valley section of the township to investigate a report of juveniles being struck by projectiles fired from a pellet gun.

The investigation revealed that four juveniles from outside the township were traveling in a dark-colored Honda Pilot and firing an Orbeez gun at another group of juveniles. The two groups were not known to one another, and the incident appears to have been random. The juvenile victims suffered minor injuries from the incident.

With the assistance of surveillance footage provided by residents, intersection cameras, and license plate readers (LPRs), police identified the juveniles involved and contacted their parents, who fully cooperated with the investigation. The juveniles will be charged accordingly.
