Bensalem Police are investigating a retail theft that occurred at the Lowes on January 26, 2022 at approximately 1:00 PM. It was reported that an unknown male and female were observed standing by the wire section of the store. The male actor used a knife or tool to cut the wire security cords on the wire spools. He then placed four spools of wire into a cart along with other unknown merchandise. The two subjects exited the store, passing all points of sale without attempting to pay for the merchandise. The male and female proceeded to a dark gray Jeep Renegade SUV, placed the items in the trunk and fled the area prior to police arrival. The value of the wire is $647.20. The male was described as a medium complected black male, with a beard, wearing a denim jacket, gray jeans, white sneakers and a gray Eagles baseball hat. The female was described as a light skinned black or Hispanic female, with shoulder length black hair, a lavender knit hat, red jacket, black shirt and jeans with black boots.
