Cape May Hallowed Half Marathon Weekend Press Release

The Cape May Police Department would like to advise the community of two-foot race events happening this weekend, Friday Oct. 25^th and Saturday Oct. 26^th.

First, there will be a 5K race in the area of the Grand Hotel, (Promenade, Beach Ave, Philadelphia Ave, NJ Ave and Madison Ave.). There will be minor traffic delays from 7:00pm -9:00pm Friday evening, Oct. 25^th.

Second, there will be a Half Marathon in the area of the Grand Hotel, which will travel approximately 13.1 miles throughout the City of Cape May, Boroughs of West Cape May, Cape May Point and parts of Lower township (South of the Canal). There will be major traffic delay(s) from 6:30am -11:30am Saturday Oct. 26^th.

The public should be aware of this and use alternate routes or avoid this area during these times. Please come and enjoy the festivities otherwise but be mindful of the added foot / race traffic.
