Congratulations to Lieutenant Mike Brady on graduating from the Senior Management Institute for Police (SMIP) at Boston University. SMIP is a program of the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) that provides senior police executives with intensive training in the latest management concepts and practices used in business and government. The program is instructed by distinguished professors from Harvard, MIT, Johns Hopkins, and Boston University, as well as some of the most successful and proven police leaders in our country. The training provided Lieutenant Brady with the opportunity to learn from some of the brightest minds in leadership, management, and organizational strategy. Lt. Brady now joins other members of the Bensalem Police Command Staff as SMIP alumni
Lieutenant Brady has been serving with the Bensalem Township Police Department since 2005 and is currently the Administrative/SWAT Commander, overseeing the department’s Administrative and SWAT operations. Lieutenant Brady, who was raised in Bensalem Township, graduated from Bensalem High School before going to Penn State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Lieutenant Brady also has a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Joseph’s University and is a graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command, Class # 457.
