On Thursday, May 14, 2026, at approximately 9:24 p.m., Bensalem Township Police responded to the Cloud City Smoke and Vape Shop, located at 5421 Neshaminy Boulevard, for the report of a robbery that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers determined that two males entered the store at separate times before one of the males, armed with a crowbar, announced a robbery and attempted to assault a store employee. Following a brief struggle between the male and the employee, the male fled the store and was chased outside by the employee. Both males then fled the area in a white BMW sedan.
Through an investigation that included the use of surveillance footage, License Plate Readers (LPRs), and township intersection cameras, Bensalem Police identified the involved males as 30-year-old Ethan Maszczenski and 22-year-old Daniel McKay.
Arrest warrants for Robbery and other related charges were obtained for both Maszczenski and McKay, who had been taken into custody by the Philadelphia Police Department in an unrelated suspected robbery.
Daniel McKay was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Terrance P. Hughes, Sr. Bail was set at 10% of $250,000, and McKay was subsequently remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Ethan Maszczenski is currently being held in Philadelphia at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility pending extradition to Bucks County.
