On May 3rd, 2025 between the hours of 9AM and 3PM expect heavy traffic along the Colfax corridor between US 6th Avenue and Interstate 70. A Charity event, involving a large number of motorcycles, will be held at a local Golden business. The Golden Police Department Special Operations Unit will be working during the event, and the main objective will be traffic safety and traffic flow in both directions. Alternate routes are advised during this time frame as there may be short lane closures to ensure safety for all motorists.
