The Golden Police Department believes a responsible and effective partnership with the media is vital to our mission. We depend on that partnership – as well as community trust and confidence – in fulfilling our responsibilities. The department has an officer assigned to respond to media requests for public safety information in a timely manner.

To obtain copies of police reports, please contact the Records Division at (303) 384-8035.

Outside of business hours, media outlets in need of information on breaking news or emergency situations can contact dispatch at (303) 980-7300 and they will contact someone to manage press inquiries.
