FCSO Deputy citied for traffic collision

In the afternoon hours of June 29, 2022, an on-duty Fremont County Deputy was involved in a traffic collision in the 1600 block of Chestnut Ave, Canon City CO.  The Deputy was t-boned by another vehicle.  The Deputy was transported to St. Thomas More Hospital in Canon City and later released.  No other injuries were reported.  The Deputy received a citation from the Colorado State Patrol on Failure to Yield.
