Sponsored Deputy Program
The sponsored Deputy program is for those who have not yet attended a Colorado POST (police) Academy. If selected, we will pay for your academy, and you will be paid while attending. Upon graduation, you will transfer to a Patrol Deputy position and begin field training.
Patrol Deputy
If you are POST-certified and looking to work for a supportive, growing agency, we would love to talk with you! At our agency, you will have a real opportunity to quickly grow into many different areas, including instructor positions and specialty areas such as the DRONE team, SWAT, Crisis Negotiations, or Investigations.
Master Control / Detentions Deputy
Master Control and Detentions Deputies work in the FCSO Detention Center. You do not need prior experience or certifications, and you will have the opportunity to apply for specialty units such as SWAT, the Drone Team, and Crisis Negotiations.
