We have officially rolled over to the new parking system! The City of Golden has a new parking management contractor, Interstate Parking of Colorado. They began enforcement officially on May 1st, this includes enforcement in Downtown Golden, the 10th Street corridor and several neighborhood permit parking zones. 

Citizens can go to the website "parkgoldenco.com" (https://www.parkgoldenco.com/)  for FAQs, contesting  tickets, requesting enforcement, and contacting the company. The website is user friendly and has tons of information. Information on pay station locations, permit zones, and a map can all be found on the site as well. 

Here are a few frequently asked questions Quick Answers:

1. Parking is still free on 10^th st for 2hrs, IF you register your license plate with the site or kiosk

2. Additional paid time is now at a rate of $2.50/hr  with a daily max of $10. 

3. There are 3 ways to register/pay for parking:  Tap 'N Explore QR Codes, Payment Kiosks and the parking app

4. Interstate parking will be operating/enforcing 7am to 5pm daily. 

5. Code will still be available for non permit related complaints and issues outside of Interstate's normal hours.
