The Hillsboro Police Department is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Full-Time Dispatcher. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for police service.
Hillsboro Police Dispatch currently provides 24/7 communication operations for 5 towns, including Hillsboro, Antrim, Bennington, Deering, and Washington. In 2022, 1,388 emergency 911 calls were handled with a total of 30,624 calls for service.

Schedule: 4 days on with 3 days off
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-stress situations
- Familiarity with computer software and radio communication systems
- Pass a background check
- Ability to successfully obtain S.P.O.T.S. (State Police Computer System) Operator Certification
