Hillsboro Police Dispatch currently provides 24/7 communication operations for 5 towns including Hillsboro; Antrim, Bennington, Deering, and Washington. In 2022 Hillsboro Dispatch took 1,388 911 emergency calls and handled a total of 30,624 calls. Prior to the location now on Municipal Drive, dispatch previously worked out of a windowless small room at the old police station, now the fire station on Central Street.

Some duties of dispatchers include: Receiving, screening, and taking applicable action on non-emergency and emergency requests including 911 calls from members of the community needing police assistance, monitoring radio transmissions, setting priorities among incoming calls for service, and dispatching the police to necessary locations.
