The Hillsboro Police Department is proud to announce that Officer Meattey and Officer Dustin have successfully completed the 201st New Hampshire Police Academy, which began over the summer. This achievement is the result of months of preparation and a rigorous hiring process.

 

Before earning their place in the academy, both officers underwent a series of demanding evaluations designed to ensure they meet the highest standards of law enforcement. This process included:

• A psychological examination
• Polygraph exam
• A comprehensive medical examination
• A physical fitness test
• A written examination
• An oral board interview

• Background investigation

Following their graduation, Officer Meattey and Officer Dustin will now begin a sixteen-week in-house field training program, where they will apply their academy training under the guidance of experienced officers.
