I am pleased to announce the promotion of Sergeant Hodgen to Lieutenant.  Lieutenant Hodgen started his career as an officer for the Deering Police Department in 2004 before making the switch in 2007 to Hillsboro.  Lieutenant Hodgen has been instrumental in starting and building a regional K9 program that includes teams from Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.   He has trained and certified over 25 teams.  He is currently partnered with his 3rd dog, Voight.  In his new role he will oversee the patrol division, something that he has done as the Senior Patrol Sergeant for the past 13 years.
