Chase Ends in Arrest as Suspect Crashes, Pops Tires

Hillsboro, NH - On Sunday, January 5, 2025, Andrew Fletcher Mackenzie, 22, of Bennington, NH, was arrested following a vehicle pursuit in Hillsboro. Mackenzie failed to stop for officers attempting to initiate a traffic stop and fled at a high rate of speed. During the pursuit, he struck a traffic island, causing damage to his vehicle, which ultimately came to a stop on Antrim Road just past the courthouse. Mackenzie was taken into custody without further incident. He was held on $5,000 cash bail at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections. Charges include: Disobeying an Officer, Reckless Operation, Negligent Operation, Operating After Certified Habitual Offender, and Uninspected Vehicle.
