Christopher Parsons was promoted to the position Lieutenant of the Hillsboro Police Department on January 27, 2021. Chris has been an officer for the town of Hillsboro since November 2010. He was promoted to Patrol Sergeant in July 2018. Prior to working for Hillsboro, Chris was a patrol officer in the towns of Deering (December 2007-April 2009) and Bennington (April 2009-November 2010). Chris has received specialized training in Accident Reconstruction and is a certified Drug Recognition Expert. He also has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice which he received in 2008. 

Chris has always been willing to go above and beyond for the community he serves, and this is a much-deserved promotions. Please join us in congratulating him.
