Alcohol Compliance Check

On April 18, 2021, the Hillsboro Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks with the help of the New Hampshire Liquor Commission.  The alcohol compliance check was conducted at 30 businesses throughout the towns of Hillsboro, Antrim, Bennington, and Washington.  During the compliance check, an underage volunteer trained by the New Hampshire Liquor Commission attempts to purchase alcohol from each location using a valid license which shows they are underage.  Out of all the businesses checked, 2 businesses sold alcohol to the minor.  These businesses and the clerks will be provided additional training to assist them in the future.
