Officers were made aware of suspicious activity including potential drug activity in the parking lot of Cumberland Farms. A secondary call came in from Center Road reporting that the two involved individuals were arguing in their car and parked in the middle of the road. Officers responded, located the vehicle, and determined that both parties were intoxicated. Upon further investigation, an assault had occurred between the male and female. The defendant was subsequently arrested, provided a future court date, and transported to the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections.
