On June 20, 2026, a BOLO for the defendant's vehicle came out requesting officers stop and check the welfare of two children as it was believed that the driver was intoxicated. A Hillsboro Officer spotted the vehicle on Bridge Street in Hillsboro and conducted a traffic stop on Vine Street. While on the stop it was determined that the children were safe and the driver was not intoxicated but he did have his driver's license and vehicle registration privileges suspended. The Defendant was arrested for driving after suspension and suspension of vehicle registration with a future court date.
