Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a vehicle with a headlight out. The defendant was identified as the operator of the vehicle and upon making contact with the defendant officers observed indicators of impairment. Through an on-scene investigation, officers determined that the defendant had been drinking prior to driving and was impaired by alcohol. The defendant was then arrested, processed, and released with a future court date.
