Finding Help - Finding Hope

In the county as a whole, mental health situations are responsible for about 1 in 10 police calls. Many stem from undiagnosed conditions unknown to police and first responders. Early intervention helps to prevent symptoms from becoming more serious and reduces risk of secondary effects of mental health or substance use challenges. As we engage in partnerships and education surrounding mental illness, we strive to be advocates to end the stigma and to improve the lives of members of this community.
