Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi announces that Angel Lebron, 49, was sentenced today in Dutchess County Court to 15 years in state prison, followed by 3 years of post-release supervision, after being convicted by a jury of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony.

District Attorney Anthony Parisi said, "Today’s 15-year sentence reflects the seriousness of this crime and our determination to hold accountable those who bring significant quantities of dangerous narcotics into our communities. Cocaine and other illegal drugs fuel addiction, violence, and instability, and my Office will continue to pursue those who profit from that harm. This case is another example of the aggressive, intelligence-driven work being done by the District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force to identify drug traffickers, build strong cases, and remove dangerous narcotics from our streets. I commend the members of the Task Force, our law enforcement partners, and Senior Trial Assistant Joseph Russo and Unit Chief Griffin Kenyon for their outstanding work in securing this conviction and significant prison sentence."
