🚔 Officer Recognition 🚔

Impaired driving continues to be one of the leading causes of preventable crashes and fatalities across the country. Through proactive enforcement and a strong commitment to public safety, Officer Smith continues to make a positive impact on keeping our roads safe.

Over the past year, Officer Smith has worked High Visibility Enforcement (HVE) grant-funded DUI shifts in addition to his regular patrol shifts. His dedication has led to the arrest of numerous impaired drivers operating under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or both, sometimes having multiple DUI arrests during a single shift.

Officer Smith’s efforts have helped improve the safety of those who live in, work in, and travel through the Town of Lochbuie. His professionalism, initiative, and commitment to impaired driving enforcement set a high standard for our department.

Please join us in thanking Officer Smith for his continued dedication to keeping our community safe! 👏🚓
