Code Enforcement – Lochbuie Police Department
Function
The primary role of Code Enforcement is to collaborate with the community to address code-related issues and maintain neighborhood quality. Community Service Officers (CSOs) handle a variety of concerns, including:
- Weeds and Rubbish – Ensuring properties are maintained and free of excessive debris.
- Junk Vehicles – Addressing abandoned or inoperable vehicles on public and private property.
- Zoning Violations – Investigating complaints related to land use and property regulations.
The goal is to achieve voluntary compliance through education and engagement, promoting a cleaner and safer community.
Complaints
Code Enforcement primarily responds to complaint-generated cases. The Town of Lochbuie receives numerous reports each year regarding potential Municipal Code violations.
