We want to call your attention to your medicine cabinet: April 22nd is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day! Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. That's dangerous and often tragic. That's why it was great that thousands of folks from across the country clean out their medicine cabinets and turn in - safely and anonymously - a record amount of prescription drugs.

• Total Weight Collected:  647,163 lbs. (324 Tons)
• Total Weight All Time: 16,636,729 lbs. (8,318 Tons)

The unused and expired medications inside your home can be dangerous and lead to accidental exposure and unintentional poisoning. Prescription and OTC drugs are the most widely abused substances by Americans 14 and up. Protect your loved ones by safeguarding medications you need and discarding those you don't preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting. April 22nd is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day (The same day as the Rabies Clinic). Keenesburg Police Department will be at the Market Street Mart from 10AM to 2 PM to collect your unwanted prescription and over the counter drugs.
