Records personnel are responsible for maintaining and processing all department records, which are managed digitally to ensure the integrity of the documents.
Release of police records and reports is governed by the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act, Colorado Revised Statute 24-72-301, et seq. Some reports may not be releasable; others may have certain information redacted as required by law.
Records requests for police records may be made at the front counter of the Keenesburg Police Department between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays). You will need a valid government-issued photo ID and a completed request for records form (available at the link below) to receive any report.
There is a fee for all records. The fee is based upon the records you request and the staff time necessary to process your records.
If you need assistance, contact Records at 720-702-2521 or by email.
