POLICE ACTIVITY

Eastbound I76 is closed at Colorado 52 due to inclement weather in Morgan County making travel there unsafe. It may remain closed until tomorrow. That means the ramp in Keenesburg remains closed, too.

Westbound traffic on I76 is also being diverted at Colorado 52 while several agencies investigate a pursuit with an armed-and-dangerous fugitive near that intersection.

Keenesburg Police are not a principal agency in the pursuit investigation and will not be answering questions or releasing any details of the on-going investigation. However, Town residents are asked to avoid travel on I76 until the later in the day when the investigators are through working at the scene.
