On July 1, 2025, at approximately 3:15 PM, emergency services were notified of a wildland fire in the area of Lodore Canyon, on the property of the Dinosaur National Monument. The fire is reported to be about half a mile south of the Lodore Canyon Ranger Station. National Park Services, and Moffat County Sheriff's Office wildland firefighters are currently assigned to the fire. 

Please avoid the area and allow emergency personnel to battle the fire without interruption.
